    Sweet sunny home in a fabulous neighborhood. Albany is a sweet town that is close the action of San Francisco and Silicon Valley as well as the intellectual richness of UC Berkeley, but it is truly a 'neighborhood' where you'll recognize your neighbors and feel safe. Our home is walking distance to restaurants, cafes, grocery shopping, book stores and directly in front of the Ohlone Greenway, a much loved walking and biking path. Albany's school district is excellent -our kids went to elementary, middle, and high school here. We are close to Bart and other public transport (easy Bart to San Jose, Berkeley, San Francisco) It's a fabulous home for families and working professionals with an apple tree, persimmon tree, a lemon tree, redwoods in the backyard (!), and many flowers in the spring. We are having an OPEN HOUSE Friday May 20th 4-6:30 pm and Saturday May 21st 5pm - 7pm. 12 month lease. We can discuss a 24 month lease if you'd like. First month's rent and $4500 security deposit to move in. Move in date is August 14, 2022 Utilities not included. We'd prefer no pets, but are open to one small dog if they are well house trained. We will ask for an additional deposit if you would like to bring your dog. There is parking in the driveway, but we will keep things in the garage and in the shed in the backyard. There is plenty of street parking. It is a quiet neighborhood, so no loud parties til late at night is appreciated by your friendly neighbors. No smoking indoors. We'd love it if you could periodically water the plants outdoors, there is not lawn (it's landscaping), but we have lovely fruit trees that appreciate water sometimes. We have someone who comes and does light maintenance on the yard. We will pay him during your lease. Once we find a good match, we'll ask for a $3000 non-refundable deposit to hold the house. It will be credited toward your security deposit once you are moved in. Once we sign an agreement, if you need to cancel prior to moving in, then you will forfeit the deposit.
