Enjoy a morning coffee on the front porch and watch the ducks and geese. Watch the birds at the custom birdhouse from the patio overlooking the water while you cook your salmon on the gas barbeque. If you dont feel like cooking, the Fischer Lake Tavern is great for dining by the Lake or head to Cowboy Up for line dancing and smoked meats. Description of Area Our cabin is located off historic Silver Street just south of Vicksburg and not far from the malls in Portage and 25 miles to Kalamazoo. Our cottage owns frontage on Snug Harbor, where you can kayak or canoe the many miles of shoreline and streams leading off the lake. Take a short drive into downtown Vicksburg and visit the historic Hideaway Bar and Grill for fantastic food and atmosphere.
