Available to rent on a monthly basis, located on a quiet road near Cornish Maine. Apartment has three floors including a daylight basement, and lots of windows that look out on a wooded yard. Private porch and driveway, hardwood floors, central vacuum, washer/dryer, and both radiant and electric heat. Utilities are included, as well as a 10GB satellite internet plan which is enough for email and web browsing. Located 45 minutes from North Conway NH or Portland Maine, in an area that feels rural but is very close to a town with grocery stores, pharmacies and lots of restaurants. Landlord lives in a house that is attached but private from tenant side. We have several dogs that you can interact with, but do not allow pets in the apartment. No smoking allowed. The apartment has one bedroom and bathroom, so it is perfect for a couple or single person. You would be welcome to enjoy the yard and engage in gardening on the land. Daylight basement is perfect for office, studio, or workout space. No pets or smoking. Initial fees include first and last months rent, plus $1,000 damage deposit. Rented on a monthly basis (no minimum lease). We cover your utilities and plow the main driveway, but do not take care of smaller items such as shoveling the walkway or mowing your yard area (you can borrow our mower). We both sign a contract that outlines these policies, and your responsibility for paying the rent on time, and our responsibility for fixing any issues (such as a leaking faucet, etc) within a reasonable timeframe. Rent cannot be more than two weeks late more than three times in a row, we do ask our renters about their employment and being comfort with being able to afford the apartment. We are very welcoming and do not discriminate based on race, LGBTQ+ or gender identity or other factors. We expect renters to be respectful of the fact that we share the property, and will do the same.
