We received at least 75-100 calls to rent the house at $1500 a month. The scammers ask for personal information from the prospective tenant before they would give out the address. Unfortunately, many fell for it and sent them their personal formation, ID, SS, Date of Birth and Credit Card Number. The second request was MONEY! Third request followed-up with a request for their personal photo of the applicant. Why to make an illegal ID? Your personal information is to secure the lease, the rent money you provide the property manager and/or owner is to execute the contract not to view the property when you have not completed a contract. Yes, lists of properties to view are available for a fee but it is a minimal fee. If you have provided all this information and large sums of money just to see the property, please help us to stop the scammers and send your case to the FBI and be sure and file a police report to protect yourself today. I sent the scammers ad on our rental property to the FBI to stop those who feed off others that so want to live in our city.
