Approximately 1000sf of living space. This corner unit is large enough where you can actually get lost in it first visit- nice distribution of space. The building sits on a hill, so unit goes from a more typical garden unit depth to roughly 3 steps below grade on the kitchen/bath/bedrooms side. Totally quiet- building has concrete between floors. Big and open. High ceilings with oversized updated Pella windows (Living and dining room look out onto a landscaped courtyard, bedrooms get great morning light, and you can see a tiny sliver of the lake), really no bad views out of the 12 windows- you see trees and grass out of all). Built-in decorative fireplace and shelving. Ornate vintage trim, doors/hardware, and wood floors throughout. 2 window AC units have been semi-permanently mounted (not particularly needed!) Steam heat keeps place very comfortable. Lots of upgrades in the 2 years since purchase: Floors redone, refinished mahogany entrance door with new glass, updated electrical outlets/switches, new fans, new lighting, new smoke/CO2 alarms, custom radiator covers, vintage-style tin kitchen backsplash, new double stainless kitchen sink and faucet, new dedicated tap for undersink water purification system (kitchen came with upgraded cabinets, SS appliances including dishwasher and microwave, and a quartz countertop), new bathroom sink and faucet. Fresh paint all around. Plenty of storage- large room under entry stairs, walk-in area with closet off kitchen, 2 small bedroom closets, and basement storage locker. Easy indoor access to coin laundry and garbage via kitchen back door. Pets allowed. 1 year wait before renting out per board approval, no Air BnB. Last time I checked there were decent reserves with no upcoming special assessments. Taxes run just over $2000 yearly. Monthly $259 HOA which covers heat, water, snow removal, landscaping, maintenance, and garbage service (you place garbage in your own can right outside your back door, inside the building's stairwell).
