The house has a huge formal hall running throughout the middle with a transom and French doors separating the front foyer with the Great Hall. There are five fireplaces including one in the front foyer. The walls are heart-pine bead board throughout, and the ceilings are fourteen feet designed with our hot, sultry Summers in mind. Many of the original light fixtures are still in the house today. The home was featured on the 2009 Screven County Garden Club Christmas Tour of Homes and in The Better Hometown Program Downtown Development Authority of Sylvania 'Between the Rivers II Cookbook', a Historical Cookbook of Screven County.
