We have a room for rent in our home with its own private bathroom (separate, off the hall) with bathtub/shower for a single tenant, male. My wife and I are Christians in our late 50s (I'm in IT, and she is working on a master's degree in theology). We strongly prefer a gentleman who shares our faith and works outside the home. The room comes with full kitchen privileges, as well as use of the dining room and washer & dryer. There are two other renters as well. This is a quiet home, and we are seeking a stable soul with no drama. This room is 10 ft x 13 ft with a closet with mirrored doors. Both the room and bathroom have just been rehabbed with laminate flooring and new paint. Currently there is a single bed, a dresser and a 32" flat screen TV, but these can be removed if necessary. The AC/Heater unit is private to the room (you set your own temperature) and uses a remote control. The rent includes all utilities including electricity, gas, water, high-speed internet and DirecTV. The room also has a private lock & key. Ours is a home on the corner with lots of street parking, across from a beautiful park and fire station. There is street parking for 1 registered vehicle. I am a computer tech, and there are lots of security cameras around the outside of the house, and a keyless front door entry (number pad). We have 2 cats Theo (Siamese) & Lily (Tuxedo) who have their shots, and who live mostly in the back of the house, and would never be in your room. We are looking for: Someone who passes a professional background check Works outside the home No pets No sleepovers No smoking, vaping or drug use in house or on property $1,200 Security Deposit is refundable upon move-out with 30-days notice (minus $100 cleaning fee) Rent is month-to-month, but we hope if it works out, you'll be comfortable staying a while.
