Don't judge me by my hard, brick exterior. If you take the time to step under my extravagant covered porch, into my grand foyer, you will see there's so much more to me. If my walls could talk they would have stories to tell... Like the story of how I became the new improved me.... One day a young couple walked in and at first glance were ready to walk back out. I tried to close the door, but it was sooo heavy, I couldnt will it shut! I was screaming, dont go, buy me... They must have heard me, because despite the gobs of wallpaper on my wall and the mismatched fireplace, oh yeah and the kitchen, oh, my poor kitchen, the list goes on.... Anyway, despite all of that, they saw me, well they saw what I could be and THEY BOUGHT ME! I was thrilled that I would be a part of making new memories once again. Then the work began... they painted, they replaced floors, they refinished floors (that was a little painful), they ripped out my entire sad kitchen and replaced it with my new showroom of a kitchen. The biggest most grand kitchenaid appliances, bright cabinets, lots of light, new corian countertops and the list goes on... I just knew we would be happy together! They created a grand master bedroom, with a large masterbath to contain a vanity for him and for her. This young couple worked so hard on me and every day I stood more and more proud. If my walls could talk they would tell you of the many memories that were made here, like the pitter patter of the little blue eyed, blond haired girl that took her first steps on my hardwood floors. Her mom and dad smiled and laughed and that's when I knew, they were so happy they bought me and invested so much of themselves in making me a better home for their new family! As that little girl grew, she played in my fenced yard on her play set, she safely rode her tricycle up and down my long driveway as her mother and father looked on... Many memories have been made here and I cant wait for the next family to start making theirs. I
