(Updated photos coming soon) This unique craftsman style home on a corner lot in the desirable Broadmoor neighborhood of San Leandro features two bedrooms with blackout shades, an office or possible 3rd bedroom, one bathroom, a large kitchen, separate dining room, and comfy living room. My husband and I are proud to have renovated this 1921 home ourselves in a rustic modern style. Features include reclaimed wood trim, solid wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, compressed bamboo flooring, dual paned windows, on-demand water heater, stainless steel appliances, and newer washer and dryer. Lounge in cushioned patio chairs by slate tables in the large fenced corner yard shaded by large oak trees. The property is family friendly however, it is NOT baby or child-proofed. There are no stairs inside the house but there are two steps to the front porch and one step from the kitchen out the back door. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes as long as they are FULLY potty trained and do not have destructive behaviors or bark excessively. Dogs must be kept off the furniture to help keep it clean and fresh. A graveled dog run with six foot high fence wraps around one side of the house. The front/corner yard is covered by natural redwood mulch and is dog friendly while you are present as long as your dog does not eat wood chips or jump over the three foot fence. We'd prefer a maximum of two dogs. (We might consider accepting other types of pets, except cats, so please let us know all animals that would come with you). Utilities included are water, sewer, electricity, natural gas, wireless internet, and weekly curbside pickup of trash, recycling, and organic waste. Owner provides maintenance. Cable TV is not available. Use the apps on the smart TV in the living room to sign in to your own streaming service accounts or plug in your own streaming device. There are security cameras on each side of the house. The house tends to stay cool for most of the day during warm weather. There is a remote-controlled ceiling fan in the living room and portable fans are provided in the bedrooms. Newer furnace and ducts and new Google thermostat heat the house and the living room features a newer electric fireplace. There is ample street parking both in front and to the side of the house. The driveway and detached garage are not part of the rental and are not available for tenant use. The home is convenient to both the 580 and 880 freeways, public transit, and is even walking distance to local shops, eateries, and others stores and services. Broadmoor is a quiet, safe and family-friendly neighborhood in San Leandro known for its charming 1920s houses and great schools. Lovely tree-lined streets make for pleasant walks and bike rides. Just a 5 minute drive to Old San Leandro, 5 minutes to beautiful Lake Chabot, and convenient to just about anything you might need, this truly is an incredible spot. Key rental agreement terms include but are not limited to the following: THREE MONTH initial rental term then month-to-month until 30 day notice is given by either party. Utilities, furnishings, and appurtenances are included in the rental rate. Refundable security deposit. Refundable pet deposit of $100 per dog; varies per other approved pet. No smoking of any kind on the property.
