    for transparency's sake photos are from before I moved in. furnishings will be a bit different from what's in the photos Basement room in a duplex. Lovely white picket fenced yard with a beautiful garden. Fantastic location within walking distance of DCA airport, Crystal City metro, tons of parks, nightlife, etc. Very well connected with public transportation (metro, ART, metrobus, etc.); I don't have a car and don't need one. Your area in the basement has a nice room, 10x10 with beautiful newer laminate flooring, a small closet, stylish barn-style sliding door leading into your huge 10x10 bathroom with a spacious modern shower area, more storage, and modern basin sink. Bathroom gets natural light in the mornings, while bedroom has a large side-facing window. Common areas on Ground floor is about 1400 sqft, split between a large living room with a couch and TV, shelves, etc. and a dining room/ kitchen with a lovely little peninsula bar type deal and kitchen table. Beautiful hardwood floors in the living room and dining room areas, tile in the kitchen. There's a nice spacious sunroom/mudroom with waterproof laminate flooring, leading out to an outdoor patio that's my favorite spot for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail! There are 2 yard sections, both fully fenced in. One on the side has mostly grass/clover, and a large shed. I'm looking at putting in some raised beds for vegetable gardening, but if you want to get involved with the gardening I'm all about it. Out front there's a very attractive decorative/flower garden with a walkway leading to the side area/patio. Gated driveway that's all yours since I don't have a car. Upstairs I have a small bedroom, office area, and bathroom. I'm going to cover all utilities. I also have verizon fios internet on the ground floor and basement should have good wifi connection, though I'm open to looking at running a hard line down if needed. Or you can certainly get your own internet if you prefer. Flexible. Can do short-term, prefer at least 3 months.
