    What's special

A top-of-the-world sort of parcel of Colorado, sitting atop the Wild Horse Mesa! Look to the east and see the Sangre de Cristos and in the distance to the West, you can see the San Juans; both are subranges of the Rocky Mountains. This means that you have beautiful sunrises and then, have you heard about the sunsets? With the sun setting in the west, the Sangre de Cristos often turn pink. Some say that the area experiences 2 sunsets, one in the west and the other in the east! Both can be seen from this property. From the road, on the western side, there is more sage than trees so it would be easier to scrap in a driveway & camp / house pad. The Eastern side of the property is more heavily wooded with pinyons and junipers. With the plush grassy road and grass through the property, this parcel shows a lot of wild horse evidence! When out walking the property and taking photos, the agent found a small amount of deer family evidence as well! Judging by the size of the tracks, they were most likely elk. This is an off the grid property. It will require septic, solar and propane if the buyer chooses to build.
