You would legally be taking over the lease with the management company (your name(s) goes on the lease, and mine comes off). I signed my lease in 2019, similar units are currently going for $1900+ month. The current lease end on 11/31/21, at the time you have the option to renew. Per Oregon law, your rent cannot be increased more than 9.9% when you renew, which means you will still save a couple hundred dollars (when I signed my first renewal, my rent didn't increase). NO DEPOSIT IS NEEDED! My deposit stays on file by taking over the lease until you vacate; as standard, you would receive the deposit back, minus any damage. There is a $12 application fee paid to the management company; good rental history and proof of income are required.
Additionally, I currently have a parking spot in the garage that is an additional $200 a month; however, you do not have to keep the parking spot.
