In 2018 a set of solar panels was installed (7.2 MW). This was a complete replacement in the sense that we produce all the power we need for this house on an annual basis. At the same time the roof was replaced. The roof has a 35 year warranty and the solar system has a 25 year warranty. In 2022 a whole house tankless water heater was installed and also a new HVAC system for the second floor. Both systems have improved the efficiency of the home drastically and reduced the electric and gas bills.
