The unit has been cleaned by a professional crew using gloves and masks to help you rest easy as you settle into your new home.
A private entrance with a small garden-level outdoor seating area leads to a light and bright main living-room area with two windows one of which is a large picture window. Hardwood flooring, built-in blue-tooth speakers, and quality lighting make the area feel surprisingly spacious. A wrap-around shelf which runs all the way to the back of the apartment provides visual interest. The kitchen and dining area include a 3/4 size refrigerator, stove, sink, and of course cabinets and counter space. The roomy bathroom features a beautifully tiled shower with a glass door. Lighting and ventilation were a top design priority. Hardwood continues into the bedroom which has a large closet and a double-pane bedroom window.
Although the owners of the house are quiet people you'll still value the sound-proofed ceiling. Lots of insulation and thick walls will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer too.
In front of the apartment is a nicely maintained area with trees and shrubs. You'll find that street parking is seldom a problem. The backyard is a shared space and is a quiet place to soak in a little UV (sunshine not included) - we have future plans to put in a small deck and a tree. Just off the short hallway you'll find a stacked washer and dryer which includes an area for a bit of storage. There's a bit of additional storage available in the garage as well.

A main attraction is the apartment's location. We are literally just steps away from several restaurants including Teote, two Thai restaurants, the Cruz Room, the Waffle Window, The Depot, and Enzos Itallian. It's a short walk of just a few blocks to places like Great Notions Brewery, Pine State Biscuits, Salt and Straw Ice Cream, the Bollywood Theater, Boxer Ramen, La Bonita Mexican, and many more. Less than a mile away is New Seasons Market, McMennsmin (Kennedy School), Walgreens, and Hot Lips Pizza. When you need to burn all that off, Peak Fitness Center is 1 block away.
