Queen Anne Victorian built in 1892 by local real estate magnet, Marvin Olcott (architect Tuthill / builder English). The house was enlarged and renovated during various eras. The southeast corner of the house extended from 1903 to 1908. Sometime after 1948, the wrap-around enclosed glass porch was added. The house has been modernized including a central HVAC system, humidity control, modern wiring and plumbing, kitchen, bathrooms, and converted gas fireplaces. Many early features remain including solid wood floors, ornate fireplace mantles, intricate doors and fixtures, servants' quarters, and a butler's pantry.
