This Laurel Park cottage was rebuilt from the ground up in 1998 using much reclaimed wood, double pane windows, and updated plumbing and electrical systems. The resulting post-and-beam home is open, modern, and practical with a flowing floor plan from the dining room with propane wood-stove to the living room with glass sliders to Goshen stone patio and delightful gardens. There are pine floors throughout the house with the exception of the half bath. The country kitchen has updated appliances including gas cooking and a dishwasher and is open to the dining room. Also on the main floor are a half bath and laundry area. Up the turned staircase are two spacious bedrooms and a large, modern full bath with one-piece shower, granite top vanity, and linen/storage closet. Pull-down stairs to attic space adds even more storage. Rinnai gas heater and propane stove keep the house toasty, supplemental electric baseboard in bedrooms.
