Hi! I'm looking for a new roommate to move in starting July 1, 2025, as my current roommate is moving out after 8 great years together (bittersweet, for sure!). The space: You'll have your own medium-sized bedroom and your own private bathroom in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo. I own the unit (since 2007!) and use the third bedroom as my home office. The kitchen, living room, and dining area were all remodeled in 2022 and are fully furnished with a clean, modern look. I work from home full-time and keep the space clean, organized, and relaxed, so ideally you commute to a workplace and value a peaceful living environment. I'm also a big fan of plants, but this is a no-pets home. A bit about me: I'm in my early 40s and work in HR, where I've been with the same company for the past 8 years. I'm a San Francisco native, have lived in Oakland for many years, and really love the Grand Lake area. I spend a lot of time at home, especially during the workweek, and am looking for someone who's independent, respectful, and easy to share space with. This is a queer household and LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I'm looking for someone who values inclusion and kindness. The neighborhood: The location is fantastic just a few blocks from Grand Lake Theatre, Trader Joe's, Walgreens, and tons of great shops, cafes, and restaurants. Plus, the Saturday Grand Lake Farmers Market is right down the street and truly one of the best in the Bay.
