The bath is also older with recent new work in the tub/shower, ample storage and a laundry chute. In the basement, there is a garage space under the main floor mostly used as storage and shop. The rest of the basement has the washer and dryer, hot water tank, forced air furnace, space for storage or a small shop and a finished room suitable for an office, exercise or craft room. This home with a fenced backyard and deck is located on a dead-end street one block to the eclectic Wallingford business district and adjacent to the iconic Good Shepherd Center, Tilth Community Garden and Meridian Playground and Park. There is a close access to bus lines, the U-district, Greenlake, the Zoo, and easy access to I-5. Applicant must be non-smoking and gainfully employed with excellent references from current and previous employers. Must have verifiable rental history from previous two landlords with no evictions. Also required is a minimum credit score of 700 and an income to rent ratio of three to one. Moving in will require first month's rent plus $2600 security deposit and a 12-month lease. Lease will be on owner's personal form. Rent will be due by the 5th of each month. A late fee of $125 will be charged after the 5th and $25 per day thereafter. Tenant will be responsible for all utilities, cable, internet and for basic yard upkeep and maintenance. Cats or small dogs are allowed with a (non-refundable) pet deposit of $100.
