There is a deck with umbrella table outside the office area, and a covered porch outside the living room. Rent includes all utilities and Wi-Fi. The Saloon is suited to a short term stay for people in transition who only plan to stay for a month or two. A single lady is preferred for renting this space since the laundry is shared with the tenant who rents the main house, and she is a single lady. Surrounded by woods and fields, it serves as a peaceful rustic retreat for a single person who loves nature and wildlife. Murdock Rd is a busy rural road and not walkable, but it's only 10 minutes to Lake Norman State Park. LKN Park offers some of the best hiking/biking trails in NC, as well as kayak and canoe rentals, camping, and a beach with picnic area. The nearest grocery is one mile in Troutman. This is a unique property in a rural setting and only 35 miles from Charlotte. It's an easy 1.5 hour drive on I-40 to Asheville and the beautiful mountains of WNC.
