This a sublease for the entire apartment. I am looking for someone to move by next month. This unit was renovated when I first moved in a little more than 6 years ago. The unit is comprised of one bedroom, one bathroom, one living room, three closet spaces, and a dining area next to the kitchen and corridor. Building amenities include an elevator, pest control services that is available once a month, a live-in super, and laundromat in the basement. The laundromat is card operated that you would need to refill with only cash. The apartment is conveniently close to the #4 train via the Mosholu Pkwy station, and 10 minutes away on foot from the D train via the Norwood station. The apartment is also a short walk away from a few busses, such as the Bx1, Bx2, and Bx10, and a Westchester Bee-line bus. Restaurants that are a short walk away from the unit include a Chipotle, a halal tex-mex eatery, a KFC, a Taco Bell, a Teriyaki One, a few Dominican restaurants, a few bodegas, a Mexican restaurant, and a Starbucks. There is also a Walgreens, a GameStop, some clothing stores, and a Key Foods supermarket that is currently undergoing an expansion. There are a few medical clinics a short walk away from the unit, including CityMD urgent care. There are also a few hospitals around the area, chief among them is the Montefiore Medical Center. There the Mosholu Pkwy is across from the building. which has a playground down the street, and ideal walking paths that can take you to either Botanical Gardens or to Riverdale, ideal for taking a stroll or going for a run. Other park areas close by are the Williamsbridge Oval and the Jerome Reservoir. The unit is FIOS ready, I just need to coordinate with Verizon on how to allow you to receive your own service after I suspend mine when I move out. You will be responsible for paying electricity and gas, which I will coordinate with Con Edison on how to let you set up your own urility services after I suspend mine. Pets are allowed but only cats and small dogs. Don't be alarmed if you see anyone else in the building with a big dog, those tenants most likely have lived in the building for a long time and were grandfathered in after the rules changed. Please note: There is some paint bubbling on one of the walls of the bathroom due to water damage approximately 4 years ago, I have notified the previous property manager and they told me it was not top priority since it wasn't critical, I tried reaching out to the current property manager before, and no response. There is also some chipped grout between floor tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, and a fractured floor tile in the bathroom. There are particulates collected around the bathroom riser pipe, this is coming from the ceiling material around the riser that seems to chip away due to the heat coming from the pipe, the super fixed it once but the ceiling around the pipe kept chipping away months later, I would recommend just cleaning that off occasionally so the bathroom floor does not get too dirty. This is a rent stabilized apartment, but the current lease expires in 4 months (by the end of May 2025). If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
