The two-story, one bedroom cottage with one and one-half bathrooms has an open concept with a high ceiling with skylights. The downstairs houses the living, dining, kitchen, office, 1/2 bath, mud/laundry with w/d and screened-in porch area. The upstairs has the bedroom (organic-natural latex queen bed) and a full bath. The cottage amenities are: hardwood flooring, tile in the bathrooms, stainless steel appliances & cherry cabinets in the kitchen, gas stove, washer/dryer, nicely furnished living areas (Pottery Barn comfort couch and chair; blow up single bed for guest), screened porch, post and beam construction, & tidal waterfront access on Spruce Creek. The house is located in beautiful Kittery Point, Maine. Sea Point Beach or Fort Foster Park are 3 miles away and historic Portsmouth, NH is 3 miles in the other direction. Gate 2 of the PNSY is 2 miles away. The area is popular for walking, biking and boating. Terms: Winter rental price includes heat, electric, cable/internet, water, garbage removal, snow plowing (tenant is responsible for shoveling the walkways and porch), generator power for electrical outages and gardening services. Additional costs to tenant: Phone service is not included. A Kittery Point post office box can be rented for a small fee if one should be needed. Maine State sales tax of 8 percent (unless rental of over 28 days is the tenant's primary residence or his/her rental is due to employment or education). The monthly rent is $1800. The security deposit of $1800 is due at the signing of the lease. Rent is due on the 1st of each month. References & credit check (~$30) are required. Cottage is fully furnished.
