Designated LA Historic Cultural Monument #577, it is the only example of Wright's Usonian architecture in California. Sitting on a double lot, the structure is iconic, and consists of an open living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, downstairs bonus space, a huge 21 foot deck to admire the ocean views, and a roof terrace. Celebrated architect John Lautner was chosen to supervise the original construction, and later in 1970 was commissioned to restore the structure.
