The upper level, accessible by steep shallow stairs with a low beam, includes a loft bedroom with a very low angled ceiling and four twin beds, perfect for kids. The common area offers a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, a drip coffee pot, a blender, a waffle maker, and an electric hand mixer. The property includes a propane grill and a fire pit, though guests are encouraged to bring their own wood and additional outdoor seating if desired. The large driveway provides ample parking space for trucks and toy haulers. Located about a 39-minute drive from the Yellowstone West Entrance, the cabin is ideally situated for those looking to explore the great outdoors. Henry's Lake, perfect for fishing and boating, is about a 23-minute drive away, while Island Park Reservoir is just an 18-minute drive. The nearest grocery store, Sam Patch Co, is a convenient 14-minute drive. For those traveling from afar, Idaho Falls Regional Airport is about 1.5 hours away, Bozeman Yellowstone International is about 2 hours, and Jackson Hole Airport is approximately 2.25 hours away. The cabin does not have air conditioning, but guests can utilize blinds, ceiling and floor fans, and the cool mountain air to maintain comfort. There is no pack-n-play, dishwasher, or washer and dryer available. Sleeping bags, air mattresses, RVs, tents, and pets are not allowed, with no exceptions. Events are prohibited, and the maximum occupancy is six people per local ordinances. Self check-in is available using a provided code. In winter, a vehicle with four-wheel drive, snow tires, and high ground clearance is recommended due to snowy conditions.
