We have a view of a private golf course and the hills. If you listen closely outside at night, you can hear the wolves howling at the Oakland Zoo. We love sitting on the front deck sipping our morning tea as we watch the sunrise over the hills. We used to live here, so it's a very cozy personal atmosphere in a spacious home (4,300 square feet). A gourmet kitchen with lots of appliances, gadgets, knives, and condiments. Just bring your food and you'll be able to cook whatever you want. Great for two couples, friends or professionals looking for a creative and open work space. This house is not recommended for toddlers, it is not child proofed. The master bedroom has a king bed with an adjustable bed base. If you've never tried an adjustable mattress base, now's your chance! Try the "zero gravity option." The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both are high end memory foam mattresses (T&N and Essentia). The third bedroom has a twin sized futon. The second and third bedroom share a "Jack-n-Jill" bathroom. There's a half bath upstairs near the great room/kitchen area. The sheets and duvet cover for the King and Queen beds are from Nest Bedding delicious bamboo or organic cotton. The Neighborhood Our house is located in the Oakland Hills above the world famous Oakland Zoo. The house has views of the private Sequoyah Country Club. There are MANY hiking trails within a short drive or a 20-minute walk. Good for cycling too. We like to walk around the neighborhood, as do our neighbors! 6 miles from the Oakland airport.
