Looking for tenant for the upstairs of a NE Williams area Bungalow available in early January. The room is a converted attic, about 500 sq ft (though much of this floor space is under slanted ceilings), newly re-carpeted, and has its own full bathroom. Head space is good for someone who is 6'1 but much taller than that it could be frustrating. There is one other tenant living (and working) on the main floor. The house is in a fantastic location convenient to downtown, freeways, bike access and transit. It's walkable to Williams, Mississippi, and Alberta. It has a large mostly remodeled kitchen, and good sized living and dining rooms. All of the common areas are furnished. There is a full basement, with a finished room that you could use as a home office. Most of the basement though is used as storage for a friend who is a landscaper (he lives elsewhere but comes by occasionally, sometimes for stuff, sometimes to take care of the yard). The other tenant works from home. She is COVID cautious, and wants someone who cleans up after themselves. She is social but does not want parties in the house, doesn't like drama, and isn't looking for a new bestie. She just adopted a dog but is not allowed upstairs. I used to live in the house but now live in NE Portland with my partner. I come by occasionally if there is maintenance that needs to be done. Rent is $900/month for a six month lease plus utilities (water, garbage, gas, electric, internet) which average around $115/month. Pets are not allowed in this space. $900 refundable security deposit required for move in.
