We've had flocks of wild turkeys come strutting through near the pool, and families of wild foxes occasionally make their presence known. If you love birds - we sure do - our back yard has become a bird paradise. We feed our feathered friends and marvel at the many varieties that fly through on their yearly migrations.On a hot summer evening there's nothing better than floating in the above-ground pool, especially at night when you can catch meteors streaking by or the full moon rising over our front yard trees. During the winter we switch to the hot tub. After the trees shed their leaves, the view from the hot tub opens up and the stars really come alive.Ours is a house that needs to be lived in. Our grandkids let their imaginations go wild in the backyard tree fort. There are enough critters to discover to keep any kid curious about the natural world. Inside our home, our Buck wood-burning fireplace stove is the centerpiece during winter. Its blower will heat the house, and the warmth in front of its glowing closed door. Newer updates are water well pump, air conditioner unit outside, pool pump, waterproof laminate floors through the entire house. Hot tub is 2 years old
