The Rosetta apartments in Koreatown, Los Angeles, is a standout among her fellow apartment buildings on Mariposa Avenue, with great views of the Hollywood Hills to our North and Downtown LA just East down Wilshire. Max Maltzman designed this building in 1929, and "to admire a Maltzman building is one thing, to live in one is an entirely different experience." These beautifully renovated apartments still retain the historic charm Mr. Maltzman created. The units have high ceilings with rounded corners, original hardwood floors, tall windows, and built-ins and extra closets. Just some of the 1920's details that make the Rosetta lovely to live in. The Rosetta has a mixture of studios and one bedrooms available for rent. We were able to rescue and refinish the original hardwood floors in almost every apartment and each floorplan is unique. Both STUDIOS and 1BDRM units include a full bath and full kitchen with matching stove and fridge, and the one bedrooms are spacious with multiple extra closets. It's a charming Avenue vibe, just a block or so from Wilshire Boulevard!
