Beautiful townhouse in historic Seton Hill on arguably the cutest street in Baltimore. House is available for rent (year lease). Built in 1988 with newly-renovated kitchen (with gas stove) and new washer/dryer in home. Central air condition/heat and alarm system. First level has new hardwood floors, powder room, sunken living room with working fireplace. Outdoor private area with beautiful shade tree and brick patio. Second floor full bathroom, laundry, linen closet and 2 bedrooms. Front sunny bedroom includes sink/mirror area, double closet and a wall of shelves. Back room has more space and stays relatively dark for good rest. Street parking is available and permits are available year-round from the permit office. Private parking lot in back of house has monthly spots available and house has secure back entrance. Seton Hill is a historic neighborhood with a strong neighborhood association and great neighbors. There is crime in the area as we are near those who have less than we have and also near drug markets. Car break-ins are the most prevalent and occasional muggings by young boys. I have not personally had any problems and only use the alarm system when I am out of town. There's a beautiful park across the street (monthly Baltimore Bike Party is held there), a dog park 2 blocks away, close to Light Rail, Bus lines, downtown, Mt. Vernon, Camden Yards, University of Maryland and much more. Close to really good coffee shops (Dear Globe, Ceremony), eateries (Land of Kush, Mt. Vernon Marketplace), Walters Art Gallery (free) and Peabody Conservatory (free concerts year-round); all good reasons why it was called a hidden gem by Baltimore Magazine. I'm seeking an excellent tenant who cares for their living space, will let me know asap of any problems and be conscientious of neighbors. VIEWING TIMES I'll be showing the house the 2nd weekend of December. Please let me know you will be coming and if these times do not work, I can try to find another time that works. Friday, December 10 12-6pm Saturday, December 11 12 - 6pm Sunday, December 12 (if needed) 12 - 3pm I'll ask all those entering to wear a mask and will limit to 2-3 parties at a time. Applying through Zillow makes it really easy for me, though I will have applications available at the showing as well and will ask for $30 to run the credit/background check. Lease is for 1 year. Move-in is one month's rent plus security deposit of the same amount (total: $3000). Renter is responsible for Gas and Electricity. Owner pays for Water.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
