    What's special

This is a totally cool and unique property w/2 newer homes 3 bed/2 bath & 1 Bed/1 bath guest home included in sq ft on city water with separate utilities, septic & addresses PLUS nearly 20 acres w/a potential lovely building site at the top of the property (must have Realtors & 4 Wheel Drive to access), detached shop/garage area PLUS outbuildings, fruit orchard, chicken coop, PEACEFUL & AMAZING VIEWS U gotta see! SIDE NOTE: There is NO marketable timber on the property that listing agent could see. Here is what the owner has to say about 422 & 424 Krewson, Drain, OR. The property was purchased in 2003, the original main house was built in 1965 by a local resident who has since passed away. In 2004 the guest house was built and used as a mother in law residence.  There is a year round creek (krewson Creek).  Several old fruit trees still remain pear, wild plum and yellow plum.  Over the years a cherry orchard was planted with both sour (pie) cherries and sweet cherries as well.  The large quonset hut (garage/shop area) was originally used to grow mushrooms.  An apple orchard was also planted just above the main house.  In 2013 the main house was destroyed in a fire and thus the new house was built.  There is a large amount of property that is above the main house.  The property is perimeter fenced but not actively maintained.  There is a couple of fenced pastures and a covered outbuilding for small livestock with water access close.  There is also a neat chicken coop which has been and is actively used.  The garden area is close to the house as well as a larger fenced area close to creek side for those that want to plant/eat and live off their own land (as far as I know the soil is VERY good).  I believe there is a possibility to either petition the county to split the top acreage off and built a home on top of the property and sell the lower portion or work with the county to allow the building of a home up top and then rent the two bottom homes.  These homes sit in a location that offer the convenience of sitting between Eugene & Roseburg, being close to town yet enjoying a country lifestyle and then having easy access to the Oregon Coast.  I have enjoyed the abundance of wildlife, spectacular views and mature trees however with my children either grown and moved on and/or just about to I find that the property is too much for me to manage therefore I feel it prudent to put it in hands of those that can properly use and maintain it.
