Group at https www.facebook.com/groups/TheRentalGRP/ - it s our private group for rental applicants but most important you find the application form here under the category Files . Because of the many applicants, repeating these steps for the hundreds of applicant would be too overbearing. This also helps us to semi-automate process and save time. 3. Step 3 - Schedule a time to talk is simply our pre-qualification interview for us to learn more about you and in turn, you about The Rental Group. If we already spoke in person, then disregard. If not, we ll need to complete this step. This takes about 15 minutes and how we do business. If you do not have time, please visit us again when your schedule permits. We ll be more than happy to accommodate. 4. Schedule a time to view the house. (Regularly scheduled showings - FREE. Private showings are $5 for each family/applicant). (A copy of driver's license front and back for each applicant, a copy of cable or utility bill from current address, last 3 months check stub/LES from employer. If you are legally not married these requirements will apply to each applicant. Any incomplete application will stop and void the process. Reminder: inaccurate or untruthful information will terminate the application. Stop here! Your landlord will contact you and arrange for payment 6. Check credit worthiness and background check (A nonrefundable fee of $60 per each adult application 18 years or older). Completing a background check does not constitute approval. If you are unsure or concern whether you qualify as a result of poor credit, previous evictions, or past delinquencies or any derogatory information listed on your consumer report, request for a copy of our standards for qualifications before paying. Again, this is a nonrefundable fee. We choose our preferred providers. We do not accept background or credit reports from other agencies or those provided by applicants. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A BACKGROUND CHECK WITHOUT FIRST SPEAKING WITH OUR STAFF. 7. Tenant established rental insurance and provides a valid copy of the renters policy declaration page to landlord by fax or email. You may choose from any insurer, USAA, Allstate, GEICO, State Farm or from any other. Please ensure that The Rental Group, LLC, P.O. Box 8901 Columbus, Georgia 31908 is listed as an ADDITIONAL INTEREST on the renter s agreement. We cannot accept any renter s declaration page without the mentioned information. (Required for all tenants pursuant to tenancy. 8. Collect rent deposit and 1st month rent plus any additional fees such as pet fees. 9. Sign lease agreement and provide any additional supporting documentation requested by landlord. Tenant completes rental move-in checklist before any keys are given over. 10.
