The home is located just outside Historic Sugar Loaf. The sub division where our home is located was originally a horse farm and dates back 300 years. The older yellow home as you turn into the driveway has a history in Sugar Loaf. It is original to the property and is 300 years old itself. The property is beautiful. The house offers beautiful views of Sugar Loaf Mountain. The foliage is spactacular in fall. The Mountain is glowing in Orange, Yellow, Reds and Brown. This home shares its space with nature. There are White Tailed Deer (there are three fawns this year!), a Red Tailed Hawk, Bunnies, Turtles, and at night you can hear the beautiful song of frogs that live in our neighbors pond. There is so much space in the field. We have used it ride 4 wheelers, run, play baseball and hit golf balls. We have even used it as a space to park cars when we had large parties at the house. The hill where the house is located has been used in the winter by all of the neighbors to go sleigh riding. The wooded part, under the shady trees is a refuge from the summer sun. It is peaceful and cool. In the evenings we have been known to light a campfire and roast marshmallows while we watch the night sky light up from the glow of fireflies. There are wonderful neighbors all around the house. Each home has children, both boys and girls ranging from 8-18. This is a wonderful place to come home to. It offers the quality of life that you expect when living in Orange County, yet it is close to major highways (not too close :) ).
