We've been slowly remodeling this into our forever home but got called back to the East coast for family. Looking for some responsible humans to take care of our space until we can return. Current tenants move out May 31st. Our home is in the heart of the city and one block away from all the action, nestled in the peaceful Baker neighborhood. We're a 1 minute walk from Santa Fe, Denver's famous art district, and a few blocks (12min walk) to South Broadway, lined with the best bars, breweries, and thrift stores in the city. If you're an artist, Santa Fe is lined with over 100 art studios. We're also next to some of our favorite coffee shops - Middlestate is 3 minute walk, Queen City, 10 mins. Baker is filled with beautiful historic homes and we'll miss our daily neighborhood walks. A major highlight is that we're right off of 6th ave which means you have a straight shot into the mountains. It's only a 16 minute drive to the nearest hikes in the rockies. The house has four bedrooms. Note - one of the upstairs bedrooms is accessible either through another bedroom or through the hallway bathroom. We currently have four tenants and they've made it work just fine, and while we lived there (as a couple) we just used it as our larger office + library. Just slightly awkward! We've limewashed our walls and handcrafted much of the home. We'd expect you to care for the home as if it were your own, not a rental. The upstairs bathroom was meticulously designed, featuring micro-cemented walls and an Adobe/Moroccan style shower. Complete with a Japanese toilet. There's a lovely front porch where we spend a lot of time reading and saying hi to our neighbors. We also have a massive backyard. Plenty of room for activities. If you ski/snowboard, we're just 50 minutes to Loveland/Arapahoe Basin. We're also just 30 minutes to Boulder, where you can sneak in a climb up the Flatirons before or after work. No smokers, potentially open to pets. Application fee $40 for a background check Rental history + references Tenants are responsible for all utilities, including electricity, gas, water, and internet.
