THE SPACE This house is perfect for anyone visiting Rochester for business purposes or guests with family members receiving treatment at Mayo Clinic. Guests must climb four steps to get into the house. Guests will have the entire house to themselves. Once inside everything except the pull-out couch is on the main level. Two leather power recliners with cup holders and built-in charging stations. King bed with memory foam mattress. High-end bed linens. Laundry on main floor - off bedroom. High speed internet. Desk for remote working. Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. Cable TV including local channels. Access to the private back yard with deck. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to the entire property. No one else lives on the property. GUEST INTERACTION We live in town and are available if needed. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help during your stay. For your convenience, there is a magnet on the fridge with our contact information. CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS The entrance to the home has a keypad. We will provide the code (4 digits) for the keypad on the day of your arrival. The keypad is located on the front door. Type in the code and turn the deadbolt. For guests arriving late, the keypad is lighted, and the flood light will turn on as you approach the door. To lock as you come and go, press the logo on the keypad and turn the deadbolt to the lock position. Once inside there is a welcome letter with the WIFI password and other instructions and other important information like when to take out the garbage bins. PARKING Free off-street parking just steps from the front door in the driveway. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING The bins are located across the driveway against the fence. Service is on Monday. Bring the bins to the curb on Sunday night. CABLE TV Cable TV is available in both the living room and bedroom. Instructions for how to get cable TV to work are located on the back of the welcome letter. RULES Treat this home as you would your own. Guests are expected to follow our rules, and can be removed if they cause issues. No smoking, vaping, or e cigarettes allowed No pets allowed. Maximum 2 guests only. Absolutely no unauthorized overnight guests. CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS Log out of any online accounts. Do NOT leave dishes in the dishwasher. Hand wash if necessary. Set the thermostat to 72 . We will take care of everything else. NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW The neighborhood is bustling during the day with professionals making their way to work. Things quiet down after 6:00pm and the neighborhood is peaceful. GETTING AROUND This home is within one mile of downtown and Mayo Clinic. A vehicle is not necessary but may be desired. Most major stores have two locations in town. It is likely you will find whatever you need in a 10-mile radius. If you find yourself downtown with a vehicle, the parking ramps and meters are free after 6:00pm. If you don't have a vehicle, Rochester has both UBER and Lyft. BOOKING & PAYMENT INFORMATION All guests over 18 years of age are required to submit a valid ID and sign a lease. Taxes and fees are included in the monthly rent. Security deposit required. Payments can be made via VENMO, PayPal, CashApp, or Zelle. The booking is NOT confirmed until all ID's are received, lease is signed, and security deposit has been received. Security deposit will be refunded upon completion of lease (less any damage) within 14 days - otherwise it is non-refundable. A $250 charge is due with the first month's rent to cover cleaning at the end of the lease.
