Our beautiful apartment blends classic Downtown LA history and style with modern comforts, featuring preserved architectural details alongside contemporary furnishings. The building is an exquisitely preserved Historic Cultural Monument of the City of Los Angeles, originally a home to Hollywood Stars such as Charlie Chaplin. A true 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit, it is well-suited for a 1-4 guests or a maximum of 6 (the pull-out couch turns into a full bed). This unit boasts three balconies, filled with natural light and offering stunning views of DTLA's historical architecture, including iconic Art Deco and Beaux-Arts buildings. All rooms are equipped with roll-down shades (no blackout shades), AC+heating and furnished with wood furniture we have lovingly collected over the years from Room & Board and West Elm. Artwork by local downtown LA artists adorns the walls. The building features excellent soundproofing, ensuring the unit remains extremely quiet when the balcony doors and windows are closed. Additionally, cork underlayment between floors eliminates noise from upstairs and downstairs units.
The building was originally built in 1913 as a hotel and seismically retrofitted when it was converted to lofts. The El Dorado Lofts is located in the Old Bank District, walking distance to dozens of great bars, Grand Central Market, Whole Foods, art galleries, Pershing Square Metro Station, shops, parks, and everything else Downtown has to offer.

We include ONE parking spot (some guests 2 or more spots and we can help walk you through the process on how to add more directly with the structure). When the tenant is ready to move in, we meet with the tenant and walk them through the parking structure application process as we have used and parked in our building's dedicated parking structure for a decade. The structure is at 415 S. Main St., connected to the building via a dedicated alleyway that is safe and under video surveillance of the building's security guard. The alley connects the parking structure to the building via a back door that can only be opened with a fob. This parking alleyway is part of the security guards' regular rounds. Any and all trespassers in the alleyway are promptly removed, ensuring a high level of safety.
We, the landlord, are very responsive and happy to provide the highest level of customer service without any headache to the tenant!
This is a turn-key apartment fully furnished with everything one would need to move in and start living without having to purchase any necessities.
The Landlord pays for ALL utilities (water, gas, electricity) including high-speed internet with Wi-Fi, so that the tenant does not have to deal with any of the setup upon moving in. If the tenant's use of utilities exceeds the average cost of past tenants, we will pass the extra cost on to the tenant.
Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the unit is allowed! The building has access to a private alley where a smoking area has been established.
While your rent includes all utilities (gas, water, electricity, high-speed Wi-Fi), we do not include parking because some guests require one spot, two spots, or no parking at all. We leave this decision up to the tenant.
