Single family brick home with a gorgeous 14' x 12' ceiling to floor bayroom in front. There is a huge living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath, master bedroom and 2 other big bedrooms in the main part of the house upstairs. The basement has a partially finished area with another bedroom and one-car tuck under garage with a basement entrance and electric garage door. All electric with the exception of the water heater, which is gas. There is an 851 sq. ft. one bedroom apartment that was added in 2006, with the entrance from the family room, as well as a separate entrance leading outside to the upper patio. It has a gorgeous full kitchen with loads of cabinets and counter space, a large handicapped-equipped bathroom with a bench shower, a nice living room and a huge bedroom with 2 walk-in closets and a washer/dryer are built into the wall with sliding doors that cover it. It has it’s own HVAC system and hot water tank. There is a large backyard that has plenty of room for an above-ground pool, as well as games and a garden. It has been organically maintained since we moved here in 2003. This house was valued at $225k the year before the Good Friday tornado. Property values plummeted, although this house sustained no damage from that storm. Bridgeton has since built back up to be a thriving community and, in my opinion, the property estimates given for the homes here are unfounded and way too low. According to many sites, this house is valued at less than we paid in 2003, and we have added more than $85k onto it since! Seriously? That’s just wrong.
