We're sad to be leaving this recently renovated 2BR/2BA apartment with nearby access to everything you need! The open-concept kitchen/living room is located on the corner of the building with tons of natural light. The kitchen has new appliances and a huge island with room for several barstools. Washer/dryer is located in the unit, as well as very effective AC. There are two bedrooms, both with medium-sized closets and built-in wire shelves. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the second bathroom is located off the hallway. We have chosen to use the second bedroom as an office, but it would easily fit a queen bed. As for the neighborhood, it is the best! There are plenty of quiet tree-lined streets for jogging or walking dogs. The Takoma Metro stop is a quick five minute walk. There are several restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a CVS all within walking distance and access to Capital Bikeshare. For bicyclists, Rock Creek Park is very close. Quick access to both D.C. and neighboring Silver Spring. My partner and I are relocating for work and our landlord has graciously allowed us to leave our lease early. We are responsible for finding replacement tenants with good credit, proof of employment and reliable references. Once we screen potential candidates, we will put you in touch with the landlord. His application fee is $55. Security deposit is $1,250. There is a small parking lot behind the building with spots available for $95/month, or plenty of street parking with a permit.
