Beautiful tree-lined streets full of unique historical homes, several of Wichita's best restaurants, Wichita's best local shopping in Clifton Square, one of the best parks in the city, and families joyfully filling the sidewalks. All that and you're just minutes from Old Town and downtown, and just minutes from the most premier shopping and dining in east Wichita. It's easy to see why it's such a desired location! But it's not just location that makes a great stay. You'll be staying in a fully renovated (completed March 2022) private guest home that has been expertly appointed and has the perfect blend of luxury, casual, and cozy full of comfort and modern amenities. 2 full large bedrooms each with a queen bed, nightstands, dressers, and generous closets. Like the home finishes all the furniture, bedding, etc is new. To accommodate all sleeping types one bedroom has a luxury pillowtop mattress and the other a luxury memory foam mattress. There is a full bathroom with large vanity, marble tub/shower, plush towels and full toiletries. The highlight of the home may be the living space. Renovated to be open concept living, the kitchen is open to the main living area. The kitchen has tons of cabinets, stainless and black appliances, and granite countertops. Appliances are all full-size and include fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher. We provide coffee maker, toaster, full cookware, full kitchen utensils, and place settings for 8. The living room boasts luxury furniture, an electric fireplace, a 65" flat screen tv. General house luxuries include high-speed Wi-Fi, furnished deck, central heat and air, smart thermostat, smart door lock, security camera and security lighting. Smoke alarms, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are also in the home. There is also a fully fenced and gated yard. General things about the property: this is a guest house detached from the main house and is above the garage so stairs are required. The garage is heated and has been extra insulated so sound isn't an issue. The home has its own private entrance. There is a large driveway that you're welcome to use to load/unload, but extended and overnight parking is on the street. We live in the main house and are available and happy to try to accommodate any needs, and can quickly respond to any issues. We have a super friendly lab named Wrigley who you may see from time-to-time. Please make us aware if you are afraid of or have an issue with dogs. There is an outdoor living space between the main house and guest house. This space is not to be used. If we are outside and disturbing you please let us know. House Rules: Absolutely no smoking inside the home. A $500 cleaning charge will apply if you do. You're welcome to smoke on the deck or in the side yard. Please be responsible adults. If you spill something please clean it promptly. Please don't remove any of the books, games, or movies. Please let us know if something breaks! Owner pays for Wifi and trash. Water, electric, and gas are Renter responsibility.
