Very drafty, cold house, storm doors actually freeze from the inside in the winter months, Garage is actually colder inside than it is outside during the winter months. Fireplace was converted from propane to wood-burning fireplace. House Needsa lot of work: needs a new roof, new windows, new floor in den - old Pergo flooring was ruined and pulled up(due to numerous septic issues), deck needs new boards( wood rotted in many places), leak in upstairs bathroom coming through kitchen ceiling, leak from roof coming through den ceiling, Needs new counters in kitchen due to peeling paint,new cabinets and the Wood molding throughout the house needs to be replaced due to damage from cats, all carpets / padding need to be replaced due to damage from sick, elderly incontinent pets, original hardwood floors are a mess (from previous owner ), apparently, we hired the world’s WORST painter, you will have to repaint everything he painted because he missed many spots and had a lot of drip down due to excess of paint on his roller, you will also have to replace the sheet rock the main full bath upstairs, because when he pulled the caulking off the shower wall, he ripped off the sheet rock as well. When he applied his own special hand made spackle, he destroyed the entire wall. It needs new sheet rock and then paint it again, ( what a mess, he also got paint everywhere - all wood moldings, furniture, floors). Also as an added bonus, the attic does not have stairs, (so bring a ladder when you want to go up,),nor does it have a floor. The driveway needs tons more new driveway stones, all the rain has left behind nothing but dirt and gullies. The water well pump and blue pressure tank were recently replaced.(2/23). An electrician told us that we need to update our electrical fuse box also. Like I said, tons of work and lots of money. Once all of that is fixed, you have a beautiful home. Probably good for a house flipper.
