We're looking for 1 more person (or a couple) to fill the vacant room in our 3bd/2ba duplex apartment in the Bryant neighborhood of Powderhorn. It's the largest bedroom in the house, located downstairs in the basement. It comes with a big closet, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, plus plenty of floor space. **The room is unfurnished.** There's additional storage in the basement area and closets throughout the house. The kitchen is stocked with cookware/plateware and the common areas are furnished. There are 2 living rooms in the house: one on the main floor and the other in the basement. Both have access to TVs and streaming. The house has central AC/heat as well as in-unit free laundry. We have a fenced-in backyard (shared with our duplex neighbors) and a spot for 1 car in the driveway. This is a friendly residential area within walking distance to the Seward Co-Op Friendship Store and MLK Jr. Park. We're also within biking distance to the Midtown Greenway, Chain of Lakes, and Minnehaha Parkway. It can be a little noisy from the interstate, but it's hardly noticeable indoors. Our Ideal Roommate(s) would be - Clean, organized, communicative and responsible. - Open to sharing resources and building community. - Politically conscious and active. - Kind, understanding, and considerate. We'd prefer not to have another pet in the house, but we're open to discuss this. Note that there's a pet deposit fee of $350 + pet rent of $30/month per pet.
