Hello Everybody! My name is Trevor Steger. My wife Jennifer and I own a duplex at 441 Fillmore Ave in NE Minneapolis. We are looking to rent out the top half of our duplex, which consists of the second and the third story of the home. Pictures show the unit. The first three pictures are from outside. Then we start on the second floor. The next three photos show the living room area. The next two exhibit the kitchen. Then we have one picture of the 2nd level bedroom. Unfortunately we do not currently have photos of the bathroom (also on the second floor). Then comes the third floor, with one photo of the bedroom area, and two photos of the additional rec space available on the third floor. The unit will be completely unfurnished, the photos are just ones taken with the current tenants furniture in it. Jenn and I just purchased this home and move in the bottom unit ourselves on May 5. We are a young couple of 29 and 31 who are easy going and quiet. We enjoy anything outdoors, exercise, yoga, reading, and travel. Oh, and Jenn loves dogs. As a whole, we don't party or drink much (the rowdiest we tend to get is late night board games), and have a pretty early to bed and to rise schedule. Ideally we would love to rent to anyone who shares some of our interests, but we are of course open to renting to anybody. We like meeting new people and know we won't have a problem sharing the place with anybody. We just list our hobbies and interests in case it captures the attention of people who have similar ones. We do not have any pets, but we will probably occasionally dog sit for Jenn's parents, who have one black lab named Cinder. We do allow and encourage pets in the upstairs unit where you will be renting, but we do have a pet fee of $75 a month per pet We love pets! It's just that they are hard on a home, especially carpets, so that is why we request an extra fee. We also have garage space available for $75 a month. The garage stalls are separated so only you have access to it, and it is very deep, giving you plenty of room for storage as well as parking your car. As for utilities, we cover water and trash. Gas and electric are split, so you pay for what you use, and we pay for what we use. Our little neighborhood at 441 Fillmore is fantastic. It is a cozy, tucked-in neighborhood with dead end streets, so it is nice and quiet with little to no thru traffic. Our home is also just one block from the big, beautiful 8-acre Beltrami Park, and just four blocks from the even larger Northeast Park! Beltrami has walking trails, a wading pool, and sport facilities including basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, an bocci ball. It also has open green space, and a playground. Outside of being right next to beautiful parks, our home is also just blocks from two coffee shops - Spyhouse Coffee, Dogwood Coffee, three breweries - Bauhaus Brew Labs Brewery, Able Seedhouse + Brewery, Sociable Cider Works, - Two Gyms - Corepower Yoga, Anytime Fitness, and one ice cream shop - MN Nice Cream. Oh, and all sorts of little cultural eateries and grocery stores, a library, and everything else Central Ave has to offer. Be to downtown Minneapolis in a five minute drive, or walk to the Stone Arch Bridge, Dinky Town, Boom Island Park, or Nicollet Island, all of which are within 1.5 miles of home! Or walk to any of the four breweries that are less than 1 mile away! As you can tell, we love NE Minneapolis, and like our quiet little neighborhood even more. Here is the link to our application! Unfortunately that means we cannot do any showing until after that date. To be considerate of the current renters by not having strangers invade their home on a regular basis for showings, we have elected to do an open house on Sunday May 8 from 4:00-5:30PM.
