This home is need of a complete rewiring. The floor in the laundry room needs replaced as well as the kitchen. Kitchen: countertops needs replaced-now has broken tile. The only heat is a small gas heater. A/C is not available at this time. You could put in window units or central air and heat. The floors are hard wood and they need to be cleaned, sanded and finished. All rooms are large, The one bathroom is very small and has an iron claw foot bathtub with the surface paint peeling. There is no real shower in this bathroom but I have put up rope and hung shower curtains inside the tube and against the one wall in order to keep the water from going out of the tub area. The floor in the bathroom is linoleum (?) and also needs to be replaced. Has a huge rip in it. The house has old windows......either need to be redone or replaced. There is a crawlspace under the house. There is an add on to the house---a small room at the rear, big enough for an office... or another bedroom with a storage area. There is no insulation in the walls of the kitchen and am wondering if this is the way it is throughout the whole house? The walls in are great condition... they need some Kilz and then painted. Interior doors could be redone or replaced. The previous owner built a gas fireplace but.... I don't think it works. Instead is that small gas furnace I use but too small to heat the entire house. There is a small gas furnace, I installed 4 years ago, in the laundry room. The water heater (gas) probably should be replaced. The roof and siding also need to be replaced. Property taxes run about $260/year. There are walk in closets in both bedrooms. The one bedroom could be made into two if needed. Also, the since that one bedroom is so large, it would be possible to move the common wall it shares with the bathroom as to enlarge the bathroom and install a tub/shower combo.
