    Looking for one person to rent the first floor of a 2-Story Farmhouse. Only one person please, the property has well water and septic so looking to be gentle on both systems. Located on one of the most beautiful county roads in all of Durango/Bayfield. Near Sweetwater Springs, 15 miles from Durango with full southern exposure all winter long and backs up to BLM. We are a small working farm, the person should be comfortable living in this environment and be pet friendly. There are chickens, a goat, a couple of geese, dogs, cats, and a pond of ducks, eagles, and other animals in the wild. Must tell you now about Carley, she is my Great White Pyranesse who keeps bear, bobcat, coyotes, mountain lion away with her bark. And she does bark, so if this bothers you, please do not respond to the ad : ) This 2-Story Farmhouse has 1,100 feet on each floor, with separate entrances. This two-bedroom space is UNFURNISHED. One of the bedrooms is the master with a walk-in closet and full bathroom. The second bedroom is adjacent to the laundry area. The kitchen has a granite countertop and an electric stove/oven. The laundry room has a closet and there is a Maytag washer for the tenant's use. Many windows throughout the space. Rent includes high-speed internet, water, and trash. The tenant will be responsible for their share of electricity, plus pellets for the freestanding pellet stove which is very reasonable during the winter months. NO SMOKING. 1st, last, and security all equal to one month's rent. A pet can be considered and the pet must be able to get along with other animals, sorry but we have two male cats and cannot have a third! There will pet addendum and a separate refundable security deposit. Note, there is not a fenced area for a dog. Please don't inquire unless you have good credit, strong jobs, and solid references.
