*ROOM AVAILABLE: October 1st * 12 month lease minimum. Large room with private bath and two full closets. Water & sewage included in rent. Electricity is billed every other month and split evenly, only other split bill is the internet which is currently $60 all together or $30 ea. Apartment is located on Stone Way N in a prime location close to UW, lake union, gasworks, green lake and woodland park, just up the hill from the Fremont troll and Burke gilman trail. Only a 10 min drive to downtown. There are grocery stores, restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries and parks all within walking and/or biking distance, main bus routes are right by the building as well. This is a prime location! Queer, Female in her 30's with a 45 Lb dog named Comet who's well behaved, loving & will excitedly greet you when you come home looking for someone who cleans up after themselves, is communicative, respectful and low key (not in my 20's anymore so this is not the place to party). I work as a teacher in a childcare center so when I come home I like a quiet, low stress atmosphere, not looking for loud people who bring drama and hostility into this space. I'm not comfortable with smokers due to allergies and my dog. I am 420 friendly but prefer that to be done outside as it stinks up the whole apartment. I am a queer person who has had a variety of female, male and transgender and nonbinary roommates in the past so all are welcome here though currently I'm not able to rent to Couples at this time. In general I am laid back and respectful of people's privacy and would appreciate the same. I'm social but due to the nature of my job I am typically socially drained by the end of the day but will always be kind and welcoming. I enjoy cooking and feeding my roommates as I usually make way too much food and baked goodies. I love curling up with my dog on the couch and watching tv or reading with a nice cup of tea. Weekends I like to have a day for productivity/ cleaning, and a day for play! In the warmer months that looks like paddleboarding, hiking and beach bonfires, cooler months that's local music, dinner parties with friends and cabin trips. Feel free to text, call or email. I will require meeting up 1:1 with potential roommates to discuss boundaries, expectations and to see if we vibe, I have had a traumatic incident with a roommate in the past so I will need to feel comfortable and aquatinted with a potential new roommate so I can prevent that from happening again, I also this helps to make you feel more comfortable and confident in your choice as well, so I greatly appreciate your understanding on the matter.
