The neighborhood!! There are 4 parks by the way that are hidden from public view and that does not include Byrnes which is 2 blocks away. Which has a city pool, playground equipment, horseshoes, sand volleyball, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a golf course, Kingsley school is about 2 blocks away. There was a walking club to walk to and from school. Very close-knit neighborhood. We have neighborhood parties. Neighborhood Association (and not the kind that costs money or makes rules on what you can and have at your house. It is so we can get together and discuss what is going on in the neighborhood, and have a neighborhood big garbage pickup day. Long-standing Halloween Party that is over 40? years and going strong. What is not to love about this neighborhood? Now let's talk about this house. You come into an entryway that has tons of room and closet space for coats and shoes and whatever else you put in them. A dining room with a built-in hutch. An updated kitchen with a rare granite countertop and a cool sink, an eat-in kitchen, and more cupboard space than you will know what to do with. I stored Christmas decorations in both the kitchen cupboards and entryway closets because there is that much room. Huge living room and just as big den/family room made of knotty pine. And a huge 3-season porch that we use year long. This leads to a private patio with the scent of lilacs that lasts for about a month because of the Chinese Lilac tree. Upstairs there are 4 very nice sized bedrooms, not small at all. Our bedroom runs the whole width of the house and has an attached master bath with double sinks and a pocket door that leads to the shower and toilet. The main bath with the coolest retro glass tiles has a shower, bath, toilet, and sink of course. I am not sure you will find another one like this. There is also tons of storage space that runs the length of the hallway that leads to the 4th bedroom and a huge walkup attic that has enough head space to be made into a bedroom, kid play area, a movie room, the sky's the limit on what you make it into not that you would need to unless you have a baseball team sized family. But let's get back to the hallway, I didn't use all the storage cupboards. Seriously this house has tons of storage space. Heading downstairs there is an exercise room/bar/mancave, the choice is yours. There is a bar and a sink. Or just turn it into another bedroom because it has an egressed window, there are two actually. Fairly new furnace and air conditioner, gutters, downspouts, and gutter covers, roofs. A woodshed in backyard and a colorful kids fort.
