From the dining room you can view Twin Peaks, or step outside onto the deck to enjoy a meal in the sunshine. - The chef's kitchen has stainless steel appliances with two ovens, marble counters, spice closets, ample storage, and more. The tap water is fed by neighborhood springs & is some of the best water you will ever taste. The kitchen has access to a back deck with a propane grill. - From the master bedroom, you can wake up to views of first light on the mountains and forest. This room has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom, and an adjoining loft space where you can work, do yoga, or relax while looking out at treetops. This room also comes equipped with two custom closet solutions. - Next to the master is a second bedroom with another queen size bed. Right outside is a fully setup desk nook with yup, more views of the forest. - Relax in the living room with incredibly high ceilings and huge windows. You can also enjoy a home theater setup with a wall-to-wall projector screen and surround sound speaker system. - Next to the living room is an office with another fully setup standing desk, and a sofa chair that pulls out into a twin size bed with a foam mattress. It's so comfortable, you will have a hard time believing it's a sofa bed. - The garage has space for 1 large car and gear storage or 2 smaller cars. 2 additional parking spots in the driveway are included. More fun things: - The location is truly magical. The house is next to a forest service plot of land, so feels like you are immersed in the quiet of the woods. We are less than 10 minute walk away from the Sherwood chair, and out-the-door access to the coveted backcountry skiing of Ward Canyon. In the summer, plenty of hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking. We are right next to Paige Meadows and Alpine Meadows, and one valley away from Desolation Wilderness. - This house has a great setup for working remotely with Starlink internet and two existing work stations with standing desks. - Nights can be cold in the mountains, but you will not be in this house! We have a recently upgraded water heater that runs through the whole house in addition to a wood burning stove. Both are incredibly effective, but we have even more warmth, just incase. The master bed is equipped with bed heaters and we have multiple space heaters in other rooms. - When you are ready to relax, we have lots of options for that too. We have an immersive projector setup, board games galore, fun books and more.
