OWNER PAYING FULL CLOSING COST: Imagine living in a historic home right in the City of Piedmont, Alabama, where everything is within walking distance, stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. This two-story Colonial Home offers a lot of charm on top of private living space, where rooms are large and not close to each other. The (2) Second Story has 2 Large Bedrooms and one bathroom with a long hallway, which I use as a Shoe Hall, very unique. (1) Level includes a very large living and dining area, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, Kitchen, Pantry, Office, Mud Room, Breakfast Nook, and laundry room. One area can be used as a breakfast nook. The master suite has its own private deck with a TV. THIS IS A MUST-SEE. This home has 4 entry doors. Moving out of state must sell. Clients must have a buyer's agent with an approval letter to review the home if financing. Cash offers must show a Proof of Funds letter from a bank.
What the owner loves about this home
I have been living in this home for 4 years, and my God, this is the safest home structure I've ever lived in. Why I brought this home. One, it had a jacuzzi, which they didn't have in the 1900's so I knew it had to be added. Owning a big home can be costly on electricity, but not in this home, since we don't have central air and heating, we don't have to worry about mold or mildew in our home killing us softly. We have air conditioning in each room, and each room has its own heating unit, which goes up to 400 watts. I just bought fireplaces instead, so it won't get too hot. I love that our Lights, Water, Gas, Trash, and Sewer are in one bill. I love that taxes are very cheap. I love that there is a Zero Crime rate in this town. Our community is very close to the best schools in the country as far as education. Don't you know the courthouse, fire station, laundry mat, DMV, Tax office, Electric Place, Post office, Grocery Store, and many more are within 3 blocks. No vehicle needed, walk in downtown and have coffee and dinner, and some ice cream. Piedmont is more than a place to live; it's an experience of a lifetime. Don't count us out, we have the best restaurants as well. 2 great Mexican restaurants, 2 great Pizza spots, China Doll Chinese restaurant, Good lickin Donuts, Subway, KFC, Burger King, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Jacks, 4 Gas stations, Hotels, 2 big grocery stores, all in walking distance. 12 miles from Jacksonville University. I will miss Piedmont, Alabama, but I do have a story to tell. This is SWEET HOME ALABAMA
