Hey everyone, my name is Madeline Slone and I'm looking to find a replacement for my room on the first floor of a 3200 sq ft house in downtown historic Savannah! This available space includes the downstairs floor, totalling one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen and a very spacious living room + front parlor combo. There is also a very nice backyard area and large front porch space. The kitchen is shared with two of the roommates upstairs, the bathroom with just one. All other areas, especially the living room are kept pretty private to renters on the first floor, though occasionally roommates may use the front room. The bedroom itself is suitable for two people or a couple, as my fiancee and I have been occupying it quite comfortably. Females would be preferred as the majority of occupants are, however I will still of course take anyone into consideration. Location: Downtown Historic District on E. Park Avenue. The location is optimal for SCAD students since it is a ten minute walk to Chatham Apartments, and extremely close to multiple SCAD bus stops such as Garvin and Arnold Hall. We are also a five minute walk from Kroger and Forsyth Park, and close to many great restaurants, convenient stores and gas stations. Costs: The rent per month is $950, utilities (WiFi, electric, water) are split between roommates and really varies on usage, especially regarding electricity. Water is billed every two months and equals usually about $45/ person. The security deposit is one month's rent ($950) When: This room is currently available from now until the beginning of September. I am open for tours beginning August 20th. The lease is for one year from September 2024- September 2025. Notes: There is an in-unit washer and dryer on this floor, as well as fridge, electric stove, and dishwasher. The house runs on central AC and works very well as does the heating. There are ceiling fans in both front rooms and bedroom for those especially scorching Savannah days. ALSO these pictures are from last year, the broken window has been replaced since then and the rooms are unfurnished excluding a couch in the front room.
