Having been a resident for 10+ years, and raising our children here, this is our little slice of (bungalow) heaven in Seattle. The shops and restaurants on 45th are all within a five minute walk; the Wallingford Playfield has a great playground and wading pool for kids, tennis courts, a bbq area and a big, open field; and the homes in the neighborhood are lovingly preserved and well-maintained, giving the neighborhood a cozy charm that's hard to find elsewhere.
