This is a beautiful 1-bedroom apartment located in one of the best up-and-coming neighborhood in Pittsburgh. This is a lease takeover, beginning Dec 1st (negotiable) and it extends to July 1st, 2021. We have lived here for a year and love it very much. We actually bought a new house just a block away as we are outgrowing this apartment but want to continue staying in this neighborhood! This apartment building is historically a convent but has been converted into an apartment complex, now named Bellevue Gables. A lot of beautiful pieces of the building has been preserved, such as the marble staircase, antique stair rails, and stained glass windows. The apartment is very spacious for a 1-bedroom and has a lot of natural light. The bedroom is very large, allowing for a Queen-sized bed and a large office table with still plenty of room to spare. There is a walk-in closet that connects to the bathroom. The dining room has perfectly fitted our piano, 5-seat dining table, and also an arts-and-craft table in the corner. The kitchen has all the necessities and a pantry. There is also space in the kitchen to set up a large rolling cart for additional counter and work space. This apartment just a few minutes walk from our favorite local joints like Lincoln Ave Brewery, Lincoln Bakery, 202 Hometown Tacos, Scoops In Bellevue, and Muddy Cup Coffee. On the weekends, we often walk down to the diner for brunch, then grabbing ice cream in the late afternoon, and then meeting our friends in the evening at the brewery. Bellevue is also very well positioned, being 15 to 20-minutes from all the other major districts. It is an easy 15-minute drive to the Strip District, Ross Park Mall, and McKnight Rd shopping plazas (Trader Joe's, Target, etc), and 20-minutes to downtown Pittsburgh.
