    What's special

The most unique charming property in Hudson NY is now available for sale. Country Life yet 10 minutes away from all Hudson shopping and restaurants, as well as being minutes away from Amtrak. Located at 4 County Rt. 22, Hudson NY with property taxes assessed in Stockport, this property has a lot of history. It was owned by the Iaccino Family for many years. We purchased it after seeing the potential of this unique property: a property that can be a home and or a home-based business. This property consists of a 2,100 Sq. Ft. house, two barns consisting of 4,000 Sq. Ft. of additional entertaining and work space. Many years ago, the upper barn was a local candy store, which we have restored back to a candy store appearance, but can easily be converted to any type of use. The space adjacent to this on the same level is an art/craft studio and meditation room. On the lower level of this barn is a complete workshop that then leads into a fabulous wine room or man/lady cave, complete with a wood burning stove. The lower barn consists of a screen porch ready for entertaining. Adjacent to this is a bar/lounge area with a full bar and seating. This room leads up to an industrial staircase to a further room which is set up as an office/workspace with an adjacent lounging area. The entire room is paneled with doors from the 1800's which creates all the storage one would ever need. A great room to work and relax in with a breeze from the barn doors that overlook the Stockport creek that runs into the Hudson River at the end of our street. This is a wonderful place to put your boat or kayak into the river. Under this room is a huge two car garage. The house consists of a large living room with a fireplace which has the original cast iron fire back dated 1781. The plaster in this room had the most amazing colors on the walls. Many artist hours went into preserving and sealing the same. This leads into a dining room that can go out to the front porch which creates great outdoor/indoor space. There is a desk area in this walkway which then leads to the kitchen. Laundry is in the kitchen in a built-in closet. The kitchen also leads out to the patio: a private area for easy entertaining. One can seat a table for 12 on the patio, and there is a unique 1/2 bath on the ground floor. The unique center staircase leads up to the master bedroom: a nice bright room with lots of storage closets. Across the hall is a beautiful full bathroom with a large soaking tub, and a walk in shower with a rain shower head fixture. On this floor there is also a guest room and a large closet on the landing with a beautiful antique bed for that unexpected guest. There is a full basement walk out which houses the water heater, electrical box, and duct work for the brand new heat and air system. The units for the heat and air are in the large attic adjacent to the master bedroom. Everything in the house and barn has been updated, using and keeping all the original items where possible. Can be sold completely furnished, just to bring your suitcases, or partially furnished, or unfurnished.

This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
